Conclusion
By having students create a newspaper after learning about World War
II, the teacher can easily assess how much and what the students truly learned.
Creating a newspaper will have students reference the essential questions and
learn various perspectives of World War II, such as those from science,
history, family and consumer sciences, and even foreign language and culture.
English will be assessed by the overall newspaper. Overall, this activity is
beneficial because it requires the students to not only pay attention to what
they have learned, but to also use and combine what they have learned.
